Guidelines and Forms
On-line Registration at Active.com will open October 1, 2018 and will close at 6 pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Paper registration will be accepted until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Click here for Paper Registration . Riders can also register on-site the day of the event, but the fee will be higher to do so. Registration fee does not count toward fundraising minimum.
Those who register by midnight on Sunday, January 27, 2019 are assured the size, gender, and type of T-shirt that they order
Please note: when you pay on-line using your credit card, your bill will reflect a purchase from active.com. Also, read the discount statement and check-out pages carefully. You may inadvertently be signing up for a subscription to Active Endurance. You have 30 days from the registration date to cancel this membership and receive a refund.
Note: Active.com associates your account with your e-mail address, so two or more people cannot register with the same e-mail. Also, you cannot register someone else under your account because we need everyone to sign the on-line waivers. If two or more are registered under the same account, only one registrant can sign the waivers.
For Insurance purposes, you must fill out and sign a waiver from USA Cycling. We need original signatures on the form, so we cannot include it as part of the on-line registration process. We will e-mail the form to all registrants, but you can also download it HERE. The only areas you need to fill in are highlighted. Bring the completed and signed form with you to the registration table at the event or you will have to complete the form on-site.
Fundraiser For DeSoto Cares Tiny Town Project
The important thing to remember when you raise money for the Ride for Tiny Town is that you are raising money for the DeSoto Cares Tiny Town Project for the Homeless to help the local community. All funds raised stay in our local community. The DeSoto Care’s mission is to improve the quality of life by getting the Homeless back on their feet again. You and your sponsors will be helping to make that goal a reality.
It is easy to be a fundraiser for the Ride for Tiny Town (RfTT). For a joyful challenge, we offer a FREE 2019 Limited Edition Ride for Tiny Town Jersey to the top Fundraisers. I know we can make this a good challenge by getting out there and asking pledges from family, friends and everyone you know!!
How
Register on Active.com and once you are registered it will direct you to your Fundraiser Page to start your fundraising. Build a Team and raise $100 or more. Simply click this link https://www.crowdrise.com/ridefortinytown for 2019.
You can set up your own fundraising page to ask others to sponsor your participation in Ride for Tiny Town.
To set up your fundraising page for your ride, click on "Campaign" where you will create an account. You then create a personal message, using the Standard message or our Ride for Tiny Town specific message (see below) to invite potential sponsors to participate. A donation as modest as $10 or $25 adds up when many participate.
The Active.com website has a default message that you can use, but a suggested one that is specific to the Ride for Tiny Town is:
"I'm raising money for a very important cause for The DeSoto Cares Services for the Homeless: finding a better way to Help the Homeless get back on their feet again.
You can help by sponsoring my ride in the 2019 Ride for Tiny Town bike event. Small donations from many people like you add up and can make a real difference. Please make a tax-deductible contribution in any amount.
Please use the link in this email to donate online quickly & securely. You will receive an email confirmation of your donation as soon as it is made.

The Active.com/CrowdRise website will send a Thank-You on your behalf to your sponsors and it will track your total for you.
